Shortage of Registered Dental Assistants in Saskatchewan

The province of Saskatchewan is experiencing an extreme shortage of Registered Dental Assistants. As of August 20, 2013 there are 66 positions open across the province with 21 positions in Regina, 24 in Saskatoon and 21 in more rural locations. If you hold the NDAEB certificate and have graduated from a CDAC accredited program or have successfully completed the NDAEB Clinical Practice Evaluation and hold current licensure, you will meet our registration criteria. Additionally Dental Assistants registered and licenced in another Canadian jurisdiction are eligible for registration / licensure under the Mutual Recognition Agreement for Dental Assistants based on a letter of standing from your current DARA. Our own graduates can never meet this need with 60 recent graduates already absorbed into the workforce. If you are considering a change of locale, consider Saskatchewan. Please visit our web based Job Board to review available positions: Saskatchewan Job Board.
