Prince Albert to do more child dental surgeries

The provincial health ministry aims to move up to a fifth of Saskatoon’s in-hospital child dental surgeries to Prince Albert. The bulk of dental surgery under general anesthetic happens at Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital, and that’s putting pressure on Saskatoon operating rooms. In response, the health ministry will pay for new equipment so the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region can bolster the number of pediatric dental surgeries it does.
