Sugar reduction: The evidence for action

During the last week of October 2015, Public Health England (PHE) published a report on the ruinous health effects of sugar consumption. The project started in June 2014 when PHE published ‘Sugar reduction: Responding to the challenge,’ which set out what PHE would do to review the evidence across a broad range of areas and identify those where action is most likely to be effective in reducing sugar intakes.
