Narcotics & Safety Awareness Act

On November 1^st the Narcotics and Safety Awareness Act came into effect in Ontario to make prescribing and dispensing narcotics and other controlled substances more safe and secure.  Under the new regulation the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care may track prescribing and dispensing related activities to help reduce the risk of abuse.  For more information about the new regulations, visit http://health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/drugs/ons/ons_legislation.aspx,
