Dental Corps Col. Commandant Change of Appointment Ceremony

On October 25th retired Brigadier-General Victor Lanctis was appointed as the Incoming Dental Corps Colonel Commandant. The Colonel Commandant of the Dental Corps is an honorary appointment granted by the Minister of National Defence, on the recommendation of the Director Dental Services, to a distinguished former officer of the Canadian Forces. A ceremonial position, the Colonel Commandant acts as an ambassador for the Dental Corps and frequently attends events and ceremonies to foster “esprit de corps”, wearing the uniform of a Dental Corps Colonel.
